Single-source Accountability

Our project teams consist of supply chain practitioners, material handling engineers, software innovators, designers and architects. Because we're not a material handling equipment OEM or a warehouse management systems (WMS) provider, we remain 100 percent neutral when specifying the equipment and systems that will run your new distribution center.

Flexible, Scalable Distribution Center Design

Our goal is to provide the most agile, efficient distribution system at the lowest total lifecycle cost. And we design with an eye to cost-effectively accommodate future growth and expansion. Our DC Design/Build activities are a beginning, not an end unto themselves.

Collaborative Distribution Consulting/Engineering

Since we take the lead role in the planning, designing and implementation of DC facility automation projects for our clients, we work in a close, collaborative effort with their assigned internal team as well as any external partners, such as the general contractor, real estate agent and architect.

We frequently collaborate with clients to assess the suitability of buildings to meet size requirements and expansion potential, floor capacity and condition, column spacing, ceiling clearance height, roof structure load capacity (for ceiling-supported conveyors), number and condition of dock doors, fire suppression system (ESFR compliant), employee parking capacity and potential for expansion, quality of lighting and  skylights, electrical service capacity, etc.

Delivering Optimal Supply Chain Performance

When it comes to the total performance of your distribution network, you don't need to look farther than FORTE. Our systems integration practice is the most experienced in the industry at distribution center design, material handling equipment automation design and implementation.
