C.R. Bard teamed with FORTE, a leading distribution operations improvement firm, to plan, design and implement a comprehensive plan for the 410,000-square-foot facility, consolidating seven divisions into one fully automated global distribution center located in Covington, Georgia.

C.R. Bard counted on the consulting and engineering expertise of FORTE to optimize its distribution operations and to meet the compliance requirements they and health care providers throughout the industry face.

FORTE provided the material handling equipment functional design and implementation as well as WMS selection and integration services. FORTE’s Automation Director WCS serves as the critical link between the equipment and the best-of-breed WMS.
