FORTE Showcases iOPTIMIZE
Software
New tool puts distribution
analytics into action
November 1, 2005—-FORTE is currently integrating the
new version of iOPTIMIZE
within customer distribution facilities. iOPTIMIZE works
as a unique DC dashboard, using distribution analytics to drive
ongoing performance improvements based on user-specified key performance
indicators (KPIs). Throughout November and December, weekly Internet
demos the open for interested professionals who sign up at http://www.forte-industries.com/thinkinsidethebox .
Alan McDonald, the iOPTIMIZE product manager and FORTE
systems consultant will be presenting the first demo November 8.
November 17 and November 29 are the November presentations to follow.
The live iOPTIMIZE demo shows how this software system
can run a query and instantaneously give real-time information
on the performance of the distribution operations with a click
of the mouse
iOPTIMIZE is a software tool that gathers, analyzes and
provides quick access to performance data pooled from numerous open
data base connectivity (ODBC)-compliant data bases within the distribution
center. These disparate information systems (i.e. ERP, WMS, WCS,
MHE, TMS, etc.) can be any model, made by any manufacturer as long
as it is ODBC-compliant. This liberal connectivity is what makes
the software truly unique and valuable to the distribution segment.
