CONTINUIMTM

Project Delivery System

LEARN MORE

CONTINUIM is a highly flexible project delivery system that allows customers to get the exact help they need, from assessing existing facilities to designing and building multi-channel distribution networks. Using this process, FORTE helps leading companies synchronize their distribution processes, hardware, software and labor.

Before you make substantial investments in your distribution operations, FORTE's experienced consultants can provide a high-level strategic assessment. This early-stage engagement does not include data analytics, but will help you identify opportunities for significant cost savings or improvements in efficiency, accuracy, reliability and customer service. FORTE can provide experience-based recommendations for operational process improvements, material flow, layout and storage improvements, as well as review the feasibility of automation options.

The FORTE CONTINUIM Plan combines metrics-driven analysis with observations informed by deep industry expertise and hands-on implementation experience. The intent of the Plan is to determine the most suitable conceptual solution for future operations and to provide sufficient financial information to confirm its feasibility and provide a clear path for implementation. The Plan will be presented with supporting rationale and will include conceptual layouts and range-of-magnitude pricing that will establish direction for the final system layout drawings and firm fixed pricing that would be prepared during a subsequent CONTINUIM Design phase.

In the CONTINUIM Build phase, the procurement, installation and integration of all equipment and systems takes place under the expert guidance of FORTE's hands-on implementation experts. Electrical controls and systems are designed and installed to ensure optimal functionality and performance, and FORTE's Integration Director and Automation Director® middleware is performance tested with the electrical controls and WMS. Extensive systems operation and maintenance training is also conducted to facilitate a smooth transition.

The CONTINUIM Optimize phase focuses on continuous process improvement by providing 24/7 remote and on-site (as needed) support. FORTE's Health Monitor permits intelligent, proactive monitoring and notification software that monitors and reports on the stability and performance of all aspects of your distribution center's infrastructure. If variability occurs, preemptive action can be taken to counter demand fluctuations and/or evolving customer and labor requirements.
